SPECIAL NOTE
Alexis Akrithakis was an artist who never followed any norms or principles and developed his own unique, revolutionary style. He lived and worked in Berlin until 1970 and then in between Athens and Europe untill his death in 1994. He had several solo and group exhibitions, among which shows with Alexander Iolas and in 1998 the National Gallery of Athens organised a retrospective show to honour his work.
