SPECIAL NOTE
Archimede Seguso was born into a family with a glassmaking heritage dating back to the 14th century, Seguso began training at age 11 and became a maestro by 20. He led the family business, Seguso Vetri d’Arte, before founding Vetreria Artistica Archimede Seguso in 1946. Seguso mastered and revived century old techniques and introduced new styles at the same time. Renowned for his chandeliers and sculptural works, his creations graced public spaces, international exhibitions, and prestigious collections like the Victoria and Albert Museum and MoMA. Seguso’s collaborations with Tiffany & Co. cemented his legacy as one of the 20th century’s master Venetian glassmakers.
