SPECIAL NOTE
Eugenio Gerli was an influential Italian designer and architect, best known for his long-standing collaboration with the Italian manufacturer Tecno and designer Osvaldo Borsani. Gerli graduated in engineering in 1949 and established his own architecture and design studio in 1950. His collaboration with Tecno, beginning in 1957, led to the creation of numerous 20th-century design classics. As an architect, Gerli worked extensively abroad, including in the U.S., Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. However, his main focus remained residential buildings in Milan and Rome.
