SPECIAL NOTE Rud Thygesen and Johnny Sørensen were Danish designers. They both graduated of the Danish School of Arts, Crafts and Design in 1966, they established their design studio the same year, starting a collaboration with Magnus Olesen in 1971. Their works focused mainly on laminated and moulded wood. Thygesen and Sørensen's designs are featured in institutions like the Danish Arts Foundation, Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York and their work spans a range of furniture, textiles, and lighting. After nearly three decades of successful partnership, they pursued individual careers in 1995.
