SPECIAL NOTE French artist and designer Nathalie Du Pasquier joined the Mutina team in 2019 with the realisation of BRIC, a site-specific installation exhibited on the occasion of MUT 4. She also designed Brac, a series of three-dimensional elements, Mattonelle Margherita and Paesaggi collections. New objects constantly enrich Du Pasquier’s poetic imagery, which follows symbolic paths to compose forms, sculpt space and create new
representations. In her practice, she considers everything she has made as raw material for subsequent projects. Nevertheless, her work is always ready to escape the framework of any rule and explore unknown territories. Nathalie Du Pasquier was born in Bordeaux in 1957 and has lived in Milano since 1979.During the eighties, she has worked as a designer, creating textiles and mostly surfaces, and was a founding member of Memphis. In 1987 painting became her main activity
and ever since her practice is constantly developing in new and unexpected directions. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions at Villa Noailles (France), Kunsthal Aarhus (Denmark), Pace Gallery (UK), Casa Mutina (Italy) and many others.
