Highlighting important figures of the 20th century post-war Modernist Movement, ANTIQUA Gallery presents “CASE MILANESI”, an installation dedicated to two of Milan’s most prominent and influential architects: Ignazio Gardella (1905-1999) and Luigi Caccia Dominioni (1913-2016).
The installation project curated by ANTIQUA Gallery aims to promote the work of these two Milanese Masters, highlight their individual contribution to the fields of Architecture and Design and showcase a selection of notable design pieces as a testament to the “Milan Style”.
The collection presented includes 22 historical pieces of furniture, lighting fixtures and accessories all sourced from collections in Milan, other as part of the Azucena production, other as private commissions.
A small yet representative selection of the graceful work of two architects-designers that constitute the epitome of 20th century Milanese elegance.
