ANTIQUA invites you to experience the charm of an installation celebrating the dynamic interplay of black and gold with origins in pre-war interiors and reimagined through a contemporary lens. Drawing inspiration from the sophistication of 1930's Parisian interiors and spanning the transformative decades of the 1940s to the 1960s, this curated collection highlights a golden era in design with intricate marquetry, exotic woods, sculpted structures and sumptuous upholstery.
The installation features a selection of important furniture, lighting fixtures and decorative objects from visionary designers such as Tomaso Buzzi, Angelo Lelii, Osvaldo Borsani, Hans Bergstrom and Poul Kjaerholm as part of timeless masterpieces that continue to inspire and captivate audiences.
