Tito Agnoli
1931-2012

Tito Agnoli was an Italian architect and designer, particularly known for his work in the fields of lighting and furniture design. He was born and lived until the age of sixteen in Lima, Peru, where in 1947 he returned to Italy. After graduating from the Politecnico di Milano, he gained valuable experience as an assistant to Gio Ponti and Carlo de Carli. His design career began in the 1950’s and continued to flourish throughout the 1960’s and 1970’s, with a primary focus on creating innovative lighting and furniture. Tito Agnoli's Cornalux series was nominated at the 1954 Triennale for the Compasso d'oro.
