Gio Ponti
1891-1979

Gio Ponti, is one of the Italian Masters of architecture. He graduated in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan at the end of World War I. He was very active as a designer and essayist, and displayed a wide range of work including furniture, ceramics, fabrics and tableware. Overall, Ponti gave the possibility of shifting experience from architecture to furnishings, and from crafts to industrial design.
